Things That Go BUMP In The Night

Things that go bumps in the night. Sounds like the kind of stuff you hear on Halloween; ghosts and such. However, it doesn't necessarily have to be Halloween for things that this to happen. Sitings of paranormal activity happen all-year-round.

This evening I was over David's house along with Josh and Jerry to watch a movie. [A "scary" movie no doubt.] David was playing around with his camera in the living room and called the rest of us in. He had taken a picture looking into the bathroom. That doesn't seem so strange. [except for the fact that David took a picture of his bathroom.] But if you looked closer at the photo, you see a grayish circle floating in what looked like the hall in front of the bathroom door. Spooky. I made the conclusion that it was an orb because it looked too different to be a reflection from the flash. Immediately David started taking pictures all over the living room and kitchen. One photo struck me very odd; it was a picture of me standing in the living room. Now the thing that was odd about it was the grayish floating circle on my sleeve of my dark green shirt. Oh, it gets better. Using the zoom feature and searching around the room and me, we found approximately seven grayish floating circles. All around me! I could understand if there were two, like we originally thought. [Both I believe are "protection" of some sort. One for my Pop-Pop and the other for my Uncle Billy.] Honestly, seven orbs? Two I could see, but seven? It wasn't scary feeling. I honestly thought it was "cool" and interesting that there were circles floating around me.

All this activity made me think of going ghost "hunting" up at The Ridges. now, I've been up there during the day several times. Taken pictures even, but with no luck of an paranormal activity. However, I feel daring enough [at least at the moment] to visit the infamous Ridges at night; particularly the TB Ward. I think it would be interesting to take a night trip up to Athens. Equipment wise, definitely a camera [perhaps both digital and disposable], recorder [not the instrument], and a video camera. The hardest part would be to not get caught, obviously. Ohio University really gets protective when it comes to The Ridges. I'm feeling daring enough to say "Bring it on."

Speaking of The Ridges and paranormal investigation. I plan on writing a screenplay soon. I'm inspired to write. That in itself is brilliant. It will be a horror tale. Which would figure. I absolutely HATE horror films and here I am trying to write one. Oh the irony.
